Analyze your network perimeter for exposed services
An open port is like an unlocked door to your home. If services like Remote Desktop (3389) or SSH (22) are exposed to the internet, hackers can attempt to brute-force your passwords or exploit software vulnerabilities to gain control of your system.
A properly configured firewall should block all incoming connections that you didn't explicitly allow. If our scanner detects open ports, it means your router or software firewall is permitting traffic, which could be a security oversight.
